“Working with Jacqui on our Hawthorn Home was an exceptional experience. She has a rare ability to understand your aesthetic from the outset — our whole direction was warm, natural and considered — and she elevated it with what I’d describe as thoughtful restraint: every decision intentional, nothing overdone.
The stone island bench and breakfast bar, the eco fireplace with its beautiful curved plasterwork detail, a custom decorative wall and high-quality lighting all came together with real coherence. The redesigned staircase balustrade — steel painted white, opening up what had previously been enclosed — transformed the entry and living area, flooding it with light in a way we hadn’t fully anticipated but now couldn’t imagine without.
What sets Jacqui apart is how far her thinking extended beyond the core renovation zones. She lifted warmth and light through the whole home by carefully selecting paint tones and the right floorboard colour to carry the palette into areas we weren’t formally renovating — the integration feels seamless throughout. She also guided us on complementary furniture and floor coverings, matched existing cabinetry which made a real difference to how cohesive the final result feels.
She collaborated genuinely on the original concepts — this wasn’t just execution of a brief, she helped shape it — and she got the balance and use of space exactly right. On the entertainment level, she saw the potential in a wasted space and created a proper bar: more beautiful, more functional, and completely in keeping with the rest of the home.

1. Start your design journey with her early.
Jacqui was brilliant at integrating what I had already put together and worked seamlessly in an incredibly short period of time to make it pop. I can only imagine what we could have achieved if I’d found her at the start! I will never make that mistake again, Jacqui!
