Brunswick House, Melbourne
A renovation of a Californian Bungalow in Brunswick, Melbourne for a family of 4.
The brief was to completely renovate the kitchen and bathroom, to create a new study area and to add a few needed custom joinery pieces around the house. The client wanted to instil a warm ‘lived-in’ feel, with nothing too over designed or contrived. The design needed to work with the Californian bungalow style architecture and the client’s existing vintage furniture and artwork. By using timber features and perfect warm whites in combination with handmade materials and finishes allowed the interiors to feel inviting and relaxed.
